Learn to Crochet: Granny Squares
Tuesday, October 20 | 5:00–6:30 PM
Learn the basics of crochet while getting started on a cozy handmade baby blanket! This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone who has always wanted to crochet and would like some hands-on instruction to help get started.
During this class, you’ll learn how to hold your crochet hook and yarn, create a foundation chain, work basic crochet stitches, turn your work, count stitches and rows, and begin following a simple baby blanket pattern. We’ll work step by step so you can build confidence and develop the skills you’ll need to continue your blanket at home.
Your class fee includes a crochet hook and one skein of yarn, so you’ll leave with the tools, materials, and pattern you need to keep working on your project. Additional yarn will be needed to complete the full blanket.
No previous crochet experience is necessary. Come spend an evening learning a relaxing and versatile new skill while beginning a sweet handmade blanket perfect for a new baby or a special gift!
Absolute beginners welcome • Crochet hook & one skein of yarn included • Pattern provided
