Skip the store-bought boxed cards this year and send something made by hand! In this festive workshop at Riverside Artist Studio in Sunapee Harbor, you’ll create six handmade Christmas cards, each in a different style, using a variety of papers, stamps, ribbons, and embellishments.
During this hands-on evening, you’ll try a new technique with every card, including layering colored cardstock, stamping and embossing shimmering sentiments, textured backgrounds, punching decorative borders, and adding finishing touches like buttons, ribbon, and bows. With guided instruction along the way, you’ll pick up ideas and techniques you can use to make cards for every occasion.
Mail them to family and friends, tuck one into a holiday gift, or keep a favorite for yourself. No previous card-making or crafting experience is necessary. All materials and instruction are included. Grab a friend, come spend a cozy December evening in the studio, and leave with six one-of-a-kind cards ready to sign, seal, and send!
