Beginner Stained Glass: Holiday Star Ornament

Add a little sparkle to your holiday season with a handmade stained glass star! In this beginner-friendly workshop at Riverside Artist Studio in Sunapee Harbor, you’ll create your own five-point star. It’s a perfect size to hang in a window as a suncatcher or as a holiday tree ornament.
During this hands-on class, you’ll learn the step-by-step process of traditional stained glass, including selecting your glass, cutting and shaping pieces to fit a pattern, wrapping the edges in copper foil, and soldering your star together. Choose a clear textured glass that catches the light like winter frost, or mix colors for a bright, cheerful look that is all your own.
With guided instruction every step of the way, you’ll build confidence with tools and techniques you can use on future stained glass projects of your own.
